A Lonely New Year

When I was walking down the lane,
Carrying my mobile,
As quiet as a dead lamb,
There were fireworks in the neighborhood,
I wondered,'Whats going on??',
Then came a galore of buzzes,
Checking on my mobile,
"Happy New Year!!!".

Then I sat quietly,
Thinking about the obvious truth,
Do they really intend to wish me,
Or were I in the cob-webbed phone list,
For them to forward the message to all,
Am I just another strange,
Who walks with nothing to offer,
Good for nothing like the dust for them?

What has life got in stake for me??
Why am I walking down this path??
Why am I in this lane??
Why do I care for others when they don't??
Why am I tossed like a ball everywhere??
Why am I living without a purpose??
With these thoughts in mind,
I walk upon the future, As lonely as possible.

Question Mark for Pakistan Democracy.....

Just as the rally for campaign swept,
Just as the flags raised in the sky for democracy,
The darkness weaved in the form of suicide bomber,
Approaching with agony and wrath,
Blasting the hope of Democracy.

Icon of Democracy in Pakistan,
Passionate about the country,
Charismatic and Humorous,
Driven to greatness,
And fall into ashes.

May her soul rest in peace.

Nature

we budded
we blossomed
we endured
we bloomed
we faded
we perished
and.......
we sought her...
mother.....
nature

Attitude!!!

A son once asked his father,"What is attitude???"
His father asked,"What would you do when someone cuddles you with love?"
"I'd accept that love and show her mine"
"What would you do when someone cries in front of you?"
"I'd sooth them with my words"
"What would you do when someone back stabs you?"
"I'd make them pay for the suffering they've caused."
"What would you do when a friend is being back stabbed?"
"I'd support him to regain his strength."
"Good. Finally, What would you do when you find your loved ones perish?"
"A part of me perishes along with them."
"Now thats an attitude."

Forget...... Don't......

Forget about the days, When it's been cloudy,
but don't forget your hours in the sun.

Forget about mistakes that you can't change now,
but don't forget the lessons that you've learned.

Forget about times you've been defeated,
but don't forget the victories you've won.

Forget about misfortunes you encounter,
but don't the times your luck has turned.

Forget about the days when you've been lonaly,
but don't forget the friendaly smiles you've seen.

Forget about the plans that didn't seem to work out right,
but.......
don't forget to always have a DREAM.
Don't keep your DREAMS in your EYES,
They may fall as TEARS,
Keep them in your HEART.
So that every heart beat may
Remind you about that dream.
